Crofton Holiday Club
We are delighted that you are interested in sending your child/children to our holiday club, which is run by Crofton Infant and Junior Schools and exists to provide high quality holiday care to our parents.
We offer the children a wide range of activities as well as having space and the opportunity to use quiet areas to relax and read. We aim to provide a consistently high quality provision that the children enjoy attending, and where parents have confidence that their children are having fun in a friendly and safe environment.
We aim to:
- Provide an environment which is highly stimulating, safe and suitable for play
- Plan activities that inspire and engage, enabling children to develop their natural curiosity and imagination
- Provide a range of equipment, resources and activities on a daily basis and keep a record of these to ensure they are varied and meet the interests of the children at the club
- Make outdoor play available every day, unless the weather is particularly poor
- Plan a full and varied range of physical activities, run by our sports coaches
Activities
We run a fun-packed programme led by our very experienced team of teachers, play-workers and sports coaches from within the Connect School Academy Trust. There is a daily timetable available for every club session, and as well as our theme of the week, the children can also take part in role play activities, painting and cooking, water and sand play and are able to make their own projects using the facilities in the media suite & computer suite.
We aim to get the children moving out in the fresh air whenever the weather allows, and there is also a fun packed programme of physical activities. We also have access to the fantastic facilities which the school has to offer, such as the gym, fields, outdoor activities in the woodland and adventure playgrounds.
Club Format

The holiday club operates during school holidays and is open from 8.00 a.m until 6.00 p.m. We offer whole Day sessions = 8 a.m - 6 p.m or Half Day sessions (AM) 8.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. & (PM) 1.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday and is based in Sparrow Hall located on the junior school site. It is run and managed by our very experienced staff from the schools and the Breakfast and After School club, and is only available to children who attend one of the Crofton Schools.
The cost of the club is £40.00 per day, £20.00 per half day per child, packed with lots of activities from football and gymnastics through to arts & crafts and dancing.
Food is NOT provided, so you should send your child in with a packed lunch and a healthy snacks if they are attending for the whole day.
Please remember that the Holiday Club is a nut-free environment.

Easter Break - Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th April 2023
May Half Term - Thursday 25th & Friday 26th /Tuesday 30th May to Friday 2nd June 2023
Summer Holiday Club - Monday 24th July to Friday 18th August 2023
This will be the only holiday club in operation at Crofton.
